The Agency for French Education Abroad (AEFE) brings together, as of the 2025 school year, 612 schools in 138 countries, educating more than 400,000 students, one third of whom are French and two thirds of other nationalities. With a 98.3% pass rate and 82.6% of students achieving honours, the 2025 session of the French Baccalaureate confirms the excellence of students within the AEFE network.
All of these schools are accredited by the French Ministry of National Education. To obtain accreditation as a French educational institution abroad, a school must undergo a formal accreditation process coordinated by the AEFE (Agency for French Education Abroad). This accreditation certifies that the school delivers the French national curriculum in accordance with the values and standards of the French education system.
The school aims to achieve accreditation from the Agency for French Education Abroad within two years.
We would then become the only school in New Zealand to obtain this accreditation, making New Zealand the 139th country represented in the global network of French schools abroad.
